NFTA Staff Climb 470 Steps for the ALA

On Saturday, March 11, over 600 individuals, of which 150 were firefighters, attended the annual American Lung Association's Buffalo Air Climb at Main Place Tower to take on 24 flights of stairs (470 steps) to advocate for lung health awareness and help save lives.  In addition to its advertising sponsorship, NFTA also supported the event with two climb teams; a ten-person civilian team that was coordinated by Mike Moore and an Aircraft Rescue Firefighter team from BNIA which included Assistant Chief Bill Major and five firefighters.
