NFTA Metro goes Retro at the Erie County Fair

Staff talking to fairgoers about Metro and its benefits

NFTA Metro was out at the Erie County Fair on August 17-18.

The on site display designed in celebration of NFTA's 50th anniversary included our staffed "Givin and Groovin" Nova diesel bus as well as participation by the Transit Police and K9 unit.

There were a lot of fun things to do, both adults and children were excited to board and even "drive" our Metro bus.

Photos were also taken on the spot and provided in complementary magnetic keepsake sleeves for all who were interested.

Of course, many fairgoers also took advantage of the opportunities to sit in the Transit Police vehicles which included the 1985 classic and say hello to K9 "King."

During the two day outreach event, Mother Nature provided some hot and humid 85 degree days, but our team prevailed through it all.  Thanks to everyone who stopped by.  For more event photos go to NFTA's facebook page.
