Feeling the Corporate Challenge love

Another great finish for the NFTA at the 37th annual JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge. The NFTA and NITTEC fielded a team of 25 athletes, posting some very respectable times. You can see them here.

Special thanks to Michael Moore who captained the team and organized our part in the event. The evening was fun and flawless. He did have help. Jeffery Sweet once again showed skill on the grill. Ladonia Boyd not only took the accompanying photo, she provided special art for the cake, based on the design for this year’s shirt and banners courtesy of Corey Hacker. Which brings us to the only sour note in this year’s event: no T-shirt competition.

We would have won.

Inspired by the NFTA's 50th birthday, the summer-of-love T-shirt was the best of the batch this year.

Over 12,000 runners and walkers, from 350 companies, took part in the race. The course leads from Delaware Park to Gates Circle and back. Part of the proceeds go to the Strong Community Schools initiative of the Buffalo Public Schools system under the New Education Bargain with Students and Parents.
