The East Ferry Street wall of Metro’s Cold Spring bus garage has become a focal point for 21 digital images that have been printed on black-and-white vinyl banners and mounted on the facility’s perimeter wall fronting East Ferry Street.

The images are part of the Ferry Street Corridor Project organized by Friends of the Buffalo Story using photography to highlight the “glorious boulevard” of the East Side as it existed between 1920 and 1965.
Mark Goldman, founder of Friends of the Buffalo Story said, “The project could ultimately be extended from Niagara Street to Bailey Avenue and beyond. We hope this is a catalyst for more engagement.”

The images are expected to be on display for approximately the next year.
