Climb With Team NFTA.
Statistics indicate that the standard walker can climb to the top in 12 to 15 minutes. How about that? So that individuals can give it a try, an official practice is being held on Wednesday, February 12 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. It is free -- no registration is required; just sign in at the lobby of one Seneca Tower upon arrival. Mike Moore, NFTA’s appointed Air Climb 2014 Team Captain, said, “I have participated every year since the air climb began in 2011, and it is truly a unique and fun event to take part in. It's a great accomplishment when you reach the top of the tallest building in Buffalo. You actually feel like you're on top of the world! I am very excited about the event again this year, and I am hopeful for a great NFTA turnout!” Mike indicated that if anyone has questions about the event or registration, they can contact him directly. For the actual event in March, the per person registration fee is $35 and collectively the NFTA team will be required to raise $100 per participant. However, when supporting such an amazing cause, this shouldn't be that hard to do either. All proceeds support the ALA’s research, advocacy, and educational programs on both national and local levels. This is truly an event you won’t want to miss! For more information, click HERE.
