Welcome New Assistant Manager for Grants & Government Affairs

Jeff Amplement joins the NFTA as the new Assistant Manager for Grants & Government Affairs. Formerly, he was the Assistant Director at the Elmwood Village Association. While there, he helped cultivate and implement strategies for economic growth along Elmwood Avenue and the surrounding neighborhoods. He will continue to sit on the association’s Design Committee, which advises property owners on zoning regulations and related matters.

When asked about his new role Jeff said, “I am looking forward to dealing with the various business centers within the authority and working on significant projects that have a broad regional scope. My prior experience has provided me with a diversified background for this position, and I am excited to be here.”

In his spare time, Jeff enjoys playing tennis and is a member of the Miller Tennis Center in Williamsville. He currently resides in South Buffalo and frequently indulges in some of the tasty Irish cuisine at Conlon’s Restaurant on Abbott Road. His travel plans this year include a trip to New Orleans to work with Habitat for Humanity and an excursion to Ireland.

Jeff earned his undergraduate degree in Business Economics and Urban Studies from Canisius College and is currently pursuing a Masters of Urban Planning at the University of Buffalo.

Fáilte (Welcome) Jeff!
