Fairgrounds Festival Brightening Holidays
The Fairgrounds Festival of Lights is a nearly two-mile long spectacle of holiday lights displays combined with special family-friendly holiday-themed activities including visits with Santa, sleigh rides with his reindeer and a new interactive kids food-related game show.
NFTA Metro's train display (see photo) is one of 75 illuminated all-LED displays on hand at the event. In conjunction with its display, NFTA Metro is also sponsoring a special online trivia contest open to all event patrons. Respondents who correctly answer the question ("How many miles long the Metro Rail track?") will be entered into a random drawing to win one of five free monthly Metro Passes. This is the 9th year for the event, and the festival’s staff is expecting to host an estimated 10,000 visitors.
