The honors for Darnell continue

 Darnell and his family with the Eire County Legislature
Frontier Operator Darnell Barton was honored three more times this week for saving a young woman’s life.


Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown issued a proclamation declaring Nov. 7 as Darnell Barton Day. Darnell was recognized for exemplifying why Buffalo is known as the “City of Good Neighbors”.

The Eire County Legislature formally recognized Darnell at today’s session, thanking him for his patience and compassion. Councilwoman Betty Jean Grant welcomed Darnell and his family and issued an official proclamation commending his actions.

Donald J. Trump sent Darnell a check for $10,000. He was compelled by Darnell’s bravery and quick-thinking, calling Darnell a genuine hero.
