Brian G. Chapman

Bus Operator, and Extra Clerk, Brian G. Chapman was shot and killed Wed. Feb. 1 outside his home in Buffalo. Brian, age 39, worked out of Cold Spring and is survived by Rail Controller Brian Chapman Sr.

“He was friendly. Happy. A great guy,” Jeffrey Richardson, vice president of Transit Union Local 1342 said. ‘He would do anything he could for anybody. Brian was loved by every worker here. Nobody spoke an ill word about Brian. He is going to be one that is truly missed.”

Executive Director Kimberley A. Minkel said, “A Metro Operator for 12 years, Brian’s cheerful demeanor was always appreciated by his riders. This is a tragic loss to the Chapman family, the NFTA and the whole community.”
